Life Flight also provides rapid response of a Neonatal Team to hospitals needing to transfer newborns. The team, consisting of a neonatologist, RN and respiratory therapist, provides advanced life support care and stabilization for the pre-term and critically ill newborn. The team has the ability to transport the infant to a tertiary care facility by either ground or air, and comes equipped with its own specially designed transport isolette.

In case of severe entrapment of limbs, Life Flight has the ability to initiate the response of a trained field amputation orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Joseph Weber, to the accident scene. Dr. Weber's rapid response to scenes to perform field amputations has saved patient's lives.
