Mercy Health Life Flight Network is an approved provider of EMS continuing education through the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of EMS #2092, and the Michigan Department of Community Health, Division of EMS#CE-10-5097. A variety of EMS educational training opportunities are available upon request. All continuing education credit hours can be used for the State of Ohio recertification requirements, as well as, National Registry of EMT re-registration.

Classes are conducted free of charge with the exception of certification courses-BTLS, Pediatric BTLS, PALS, ACLS, PEPP and 12-Lead Interpretation Course. Refresher courses for EMT-Basic, EMT-Intermediate and EMT-Paramedic are scheduled in conjunction with the University of Toledo Medical Center Paramedic Program. A Certificate of Attendance/Completion is awarded as proof of participation.

 

Monthly Continuing Education Opportunities

FREE continuing education is also offered monthly. Life Flight 2 CEs are held at the Fulton County Health Center in the Becks Conference room and Life Flight 4 CEs are hosted at the base site.
